Richard Marsden
Having qualified from the University of Newcastle in 1986, Richard brings well over 20 years of experience as a family dentist to the practice. He completed his vocational training in Cumbria before moving to North Yorkshire and he arrived at the Red House in 1992. Richard took over the helm at the Red House in 1995 and since that time has overseen the expansion of the practice and, particularly, the drive to have the Red House become Denplan Excel Accredited and a member of the British Dental Association's "Good Practice Scheme". Indeed the Red House was one of the first practices to achieve this.
As well as being a BDA member, Richard has in the past served on the North Yorkshire Local Dental Committee. He also ran a workshop for local dentists wishing to become Good Practice Scheme members and has lectured to dentists about the PreViser periodontal risk assessment programme.
Outside of the work environment, Richard enjoys running, cycling and playing the guitar (badly!)
